Retired Breeders
Is an adult cat a better option for you than a kitten? We’re committed to never overbreeding our cats here at Sunkittens, so all of our breeders are retired relatively young to ensure they still have plenty of time to just be a happy family pet to a loving family. We prefer our retirees to go home as solo pets, or to a home that may have one of their kittens.
Sometimes, we will list older kittens on here (or young adults) that do not fit the criteria of being a future breeder.

WHY WE ARE RETIRING:
Oh, having to retire Katsu breaks my heart as he was my dream male for a very, very long time. He even won awards when he was younger for how beautiful and perfect he is.
He is the sweetest cat in the entire world to us and would be a lovely companion to others. Every kitten from Katsu has been perfect in every single way. Adaptable, sweet, gentle, cuddly. He is SO cuddly himself. Katsu has a hard time being around other cats - he actually only prefers to be with golden colored cats like him (Vivi and Honey), and it’s a little bit odd. He would do wonderful in a home where he is the only cat, as he can be a little unpredictable about it. Even though he is a tomcat, he does not spray / mark.
